Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RolePlayManager ("RPM", "the Bot", "the Service"), including any associated websites, APIs, dashboard features, and the civilian/LEO web portal. By adding the Bot to a Discord server, accessing the dashboard, using the portal, or purchasing a Premium key, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

RolePlayManager is a Discord bot and web application providing tools for GTA5 roleplay communities, including but not limited to: AI Voice Dispatch, CAD databases, emergency 911 systems, member verification, economy systems, civilian job boards, a civilian/LEO web portal, and other server management features.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Discord Compliance

RolePlayManager operates on the Discord platform and is subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Developer Policy. By using the Service, you agree to comply with all applicable Discord policies.

RolePlayManager uses Discord Privileged Gateway Intents (Server Members, Message Content, and Presence) as described in our Privacy Policy. These intents are used exclusively to power the features described in that policy and are not used for any other purpose.

We do not collect data through privileged intents for purposes beyond what is necessary to operate the features you or your server administrators have enabled. Server administrators are responsible for ensuring their use of RolePlayManager complies with Discord's policies and applicable law.

4. Server Administrator Responsibilities

If you add RolePlayManager to a Discord server, you are the "server administrator" and take on additional responsibilities:

• You are responsible for how the bot is configured and used in your server
• You must not configure the bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• You must not use bot features (strikes, bans, verification gates) to harass, discriminate against, or harm members
• You are responsible for informing your server members that RolePlayManager is active and what data it collects, consistent with our Privacy Policy
• You must ensure minors in your server are not exposed to inappropriate content or economy features involving simulated gambling

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any person
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• Attempt to bypass, exploit, or abuse any feature, rate limit, or permission check in the Service
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the Service outside of normal Discord usage
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or unauthorized promotional content
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

6. Premium Features

Certain features of the Service are designated as "Premium" and require an active paid subscription or lifetime key to access.

• Premium features are always subject to change and removal. Features advertised as Premium may be added, modified, moved to the free tier, or removed entirely at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice.
• We do not guarantee the continued availability of any specific Premium feature.
• Purchasing a Premium subscription or lifetime key grants access to currently available Premium features, not any particular feature in perpetuity.
• Premium keys are locked to a single Discord server (guild) at a time. You may transfer your key to a different server at any time from the dashboard Premium section.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Purchases made in error
• Dissatisfaction with the Service or specific features
• Failure to use the Service or a Premium key
• Changes to Premium features after purchase
• Discord server closures, bans, or other circumstances outside our control
• Termination of access for violations of these Terms
• Discontinuation or end-of-life of the Bot or Service

If the Bot or Service is discontinued or no longer supported, no refunds will be issued. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

EU/EEA Users: If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may be entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal or refund as required by applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under mandatory applicable law in your jurisdiction.

Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each billing period. You may cancel at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Lifetime Keys

Lifetime keys are a one-time purchase granting access to Premium features for as long as the Service is operational. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service, not the lifetime of the purchaser. If the Service is discontinued, no compensation or refund is provided.

8. Economy and Virtual Currency

RolePlayManager includes an in-server economy system with virtual currency, a simulated store, and gambling-style mini-games (blackjack, roulette, slots, etc.). The following applies:

• All currency and items in the economy system are virtual and have no real-world monetary value
• Virtual currency and items cannot be exchanged for real money, Discord Nitro, Premium keys, or any other real-world value
• Gambling features are simulated and intended for entertainment within a roleplay context only
• We are not responsible for disputes between server members arising from economy interactions (robbery, gambling, etc.)
• Server administrators may reset, modify, or wipe economy data at any time through the dashboard

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service, consistent with Discord's minimum age requirement. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any server or user at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, Discord's policies, or applicable law. No refund will be issued upon termination for cause.

You may remove the bot from your server at any time, which constitutes termination of your use of the Service for that server.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of RolePlayManager and its operators. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RolePlayManager and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of server members, or disruption to your Discord community.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States. Users in other jurisdictions are subject to local mandatory consumer protection laws where applicable.

EU/EEA Users: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the laws of your jurisdiction, including but not limited to mandatory consumer protection rights, the right to withdraw from digital service contracts within 14 days (where applicable), and rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. IP Address Collection and Data Processing

When you access any part of our Service via the web — including the verification page, the dashboard, or the Civilian/LEO portal — your IP address is automatically processed by our servers and hosting infrastructure. Under EU law (GDPR) and applicable US privacy law, an IP address is considered personally identifiable information (PII).

By using the web-based portions of the Service (including completing a server verification form), you acknowledge and consent to:

• Your IP address being processed by our hosting provider (Koyeb) and recorded in standard server access logs
• IP address logs being retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes
• Your IP address being used to prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and investigate unauthorized access

We do not sell, broker, or share your IP address with third parties for advertising or profiling purposes. Full details of our data collection and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

EU/EEA Users: You have the right to request access to, correction of, and deletion of IP address records associated with your use of the Service under the GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us via Discord or email listed below.
